WHAT THE COMMUNITY IS SAYING ABOUT JONAH... "The Jonah Project is a cause near and dear to my heart. Sex trafficking is a huge issue in Spokane, and the Jonah Project is the only agency in Spokane really making a dent in doing something about it. I’ve worked for them, volunteered for them, made lifelong friends with them, and let me tell you- the Jonah Project is the real deal. Perhaps the most compelling part of the Jonah Project is the team's emphasis on relationship. They don't consider the survivors as a number or a program participant. They treat this person like a real human being as they walk with them through life. I've witnessed first-hand the joy and freedom they've brought to people as they provide someone's first birthday party ever, or finally break through to a kid that they are loved, or valuable just the way they are. It's a beautiful scene to witness, and exactly the kind of work they do day in and day out. This is the kind of work they intend to expand on as they build an underground railroad to bring light and freedom to human beings across the country. The Jonah Project is the kind of organization that makes me proud to be a Spokanite. The work they do is so important and unique, done so efficiently and with such a pure heart that I can only imagine the places it will go over the coming years." Nicole Bishop Spokane Human Rights Commission - CHAIR
"It has been a pleasure partnering with Jonah Project. We have had some clients who've completed inpatient utilize their services and continue to work with us at an outpatient level. They are a huge asset to these client's success. Advocates from the Jonah Project have driven young people to/from counseling and group therapies as well as attended family events with them. They are involved and supportive in the client's recovery and needs. We hope to continue to work with the Jonah Project in the future." Local Youth Substance Abuse Counselor
"The Jonah Project has done some wonderful work for our students here at Rogers. Virtually every time I contact them with a need for a student-athlete, they come through and are able to help that student-athlete get the equipment or funding needed to participate in their sport. The Jonah Project is a wonderful organization who consistently look out for the students in the Hillyard Community and we very much appreciate their support." Aaron Brecek Athletic Director - Rogers High School
"The people that get involved in Jonah have their eyes opened to the realities of the world, and their hearts expanded to be able to love others with a greater level of compassion and effectiveness. Everyone who touches this organization gets changed by the Power of Love." Kaleb Fisher Pastor - City Church
